Is Kim Kardashian showering her brother Rob Kardashian with love so that he will stop leaking divorce stories to the tabloids?
Rob Kardashian has been waging war against his momager Kris Jenner and
fame-hungry sister Kim Kardashian for months – but it looks like Kim and Rob may have buried the hatchet (temporarily).
It’s no secret that Rob has been struggling with his weight gain, and
has put on over 100 pounds in the past year, and Kim Kardashian is
mortified by his appearance. So, you can imagine all of our confusion
when Kim took to Twitter on Tuesday August 25 and announced that she and
Rob are now “morning work out buddies.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been
on the verge of a divorce for months. Kimye can’t seem to agree on
anything these days, and Kanye has been avoiding his emotional and
hormonal pregnant wife at all costs. Tensions reached a boiling point
this summer when Kim found naked pictures of Amber Rose on Kanye’s computer –
and all hell broke loose. There are reportedly divorce papers already
drawn up, and Kim has been threatening to file them. But, she is
mortified that another one of her marriages is failing, and she is
desperately trying to make sure the media doesn’t catch wind of it.
Enter Rob Kardashian, her estranged little brother who has been making a
living off from selling stories about her divorce to the press for
months.
Just a few months ago Kim Kardashian totally slammed her brother
in an interview, laughed at rumors that he smoked meth, and complained
that all he does is play video games, drink, and feel sorry for himself.
Kim’s comments were so cold – even we felt sorry for Rob. When asked if
her brother smoked meth, Kim joked “If he did, wouldn’t he be skinny?”
Ouch!
But, now Kim and Rob are apparently
BFF’s again – and morning workout buddies. Something is not adding up.
Rob has had some financial issues after quitting Keeping Up With The
Kardashians, and he was even selling stories about his sister to the
press and negotiating a contract for a tell-all interview about his
scandalous family. There are plenty of other things Kim would rather do
with her mornings than work out with her brother – whom she has made fun
of on more than one occasion for being overweight, but the way we see
it she really doesn’t have a choice. It looks like Kim has adapted the
old strategy “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.”
Rob Kardashian is most likely thrilled
to have his sister taking a genuine interest with his health, trying to
help him out, and spending time with him rather than looking at herself
in the mirror. But, we see right through it. All Kim is doing is
buttering up her brother to keep him quiet about her divorce from Kanye
West. Kris Jenner was paying Rob off with money, and buying his silence.
Kim is paying Rob off with love and attention, something he has been
obviously desperately craving for months.
